Day 19 in Ireland

I’m tired of the writing part of the blog, so I’m going to stop for a little while.  By the time I get back from milking twice a day, feeding the calves, riding and caring for the horse, exploring new places and cooking meals, I just don’t have any energy.  Plus, I also update facebook, send emails, try to stay in contact with my family and Brendan, and journal on a daily basis.  When all that’s done, I feel like I’ve told my stories a hundred times, and I figure pictures can speak a million words, so…this is going to be a picture blog for awhile.  On day 19, I explored Boulick Castle, burial grounds and Catholic Church ruins in County Tipperary.  I booked a hostel for a weekend in Galway.  I also met newborn calves who gave me a kiss and attended my first hurling match.  During the hurling match, I got to try my hand at hitting a ball with a hurler.  It turns out hurling is not my calling.  It was just another day in paradise.

  1. Good for you. Take a break. the pictures are wonderful, but your audience may feel bad if you don't write about your weekend in Galway.
    thanks for the love,
